Sun ALOM basics
SC/console switch
From the SC prompt you can switch to console with:
console -f
The '-f' option ensures the console is writable. From the console, you can switch to SC prompt the magic sequence:

Assign IP address
From the SC prompt:
setsc netsc_ipaddr 192.168.x.x setsc netsc_ipnetmask 255.255.255.0 setsc netsc_ipgateway 192.168.x.x resetsc -y
